Sustainability Policy
Sustainability is very important to us. We are getting greener step by step,
and still offer you quality products.
About 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry end up in landfills and thus contribute significantly to environmental pollution.
In addition, every fifth product produced by the fashion industry ends up
on the garbage without even being worn once.
Because we work with on-demand suppliers, we only produce items for which we receive an order. This avoids textile waste caused by overproduction.
The high-quality printing technology of our printing partner generates almost no waste water and uses less energy than printers customary in the industry.
Manufacture of our products and packaging
Every product is made to order - once you place an order, we produce especially for you.
In this way we avoid overproduction and textile waste and continuously work on more environmentally friendly production. Since May 2021 we have been using packaging made from post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR).
PCR plastics are recycled from items people use every day, like plastic bags and bottles. Most of our PCR plastics are made from grocery bags and packaging film.
We use PCR plastic packaging for all apparel orders shipped from our fulfillment centers.
In-package PCR content varies from location to location, but is a minimum of 50% for the outer (white or gray) poly mailer bags and a minimum of 30% for the inner (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments be used.
PCR packaging protects the products just as well as the new plastic bags and looks almost exactly like them. However, choosing PCR over virgin material minimizes the environmental impact of plastic on our planet.
We know there is still a long way to go to reduce our packaging footprint, so we will continue to look for more eco-friendly options in the future.
Our printing techniques and materials
Our products are printed using the Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing process. The printing technology we use is designed for sustainability, the inks we use for printing are vegan, water-based and free from harmful chemicals.
Our production times
Every product you see in our catalog is made to order, which means as soon as you place the order we start working to get it to you. The product takes time to manufacture and ship, but making each order on demand allows us to avoid overproduction.
